Create a new message for posting

  1. Open the folder where you want to post your message.
  2. To open the new post form, click New on the toolbar. The Post to line displays the name of the public folder in which you're posting the message.
  3. In the Subject text box, type a brief subject line to provide a summary of your message.
  4. In the message body, type your message.
  5. After you've composed your message, click Post Button image on the toolbar.
  6. Note  When the message has been posted, the new posting form will close and you will be returned to the folder where your message was posted.

Tip  You can also post messages to your Microsoft Exchange mailbox folders, such as your Inbox. To do this, on the main toolbar, in the New list, select Post in This Folder.

Set message importance

Outlook Web Access allows you to mark messages with a high, low, or normal priority. Messages not designated as high or low have a normal importance by default.
